** All Crew Leaders are invited to participate in this month’s HU 400 Advanced Crew Leader Training Course! * William’s Way is looking good! The mechanicals are finished on Block B and the drywall is being started.  In block A, the caissons are complete and Floor framing is ready to be started.  In block C, we are starting to insulate the kitchens.

* There is always a need for more Crew Leaderss to join us on site every day of the week, but particularly on Mondays and Saturdays. The more Crew Leaders who come out on these days the more fun it will be!  If you are available please sing up soon.

* At 4572 Kingston Rd, the site is well on its way!  The site servicing continues and foundations will start on Block C and D this week.  Volunteers are expected to be on site starting the 16th of August!

* Crew Leaders, be on the lookout for Volunteers with Crew Leader Potential!  The Crew Leader in Training program was launched last month.  Please encourage potential CLT’s to visit the website for more program details.  In addition, if you see someone who you think would make a good Crew Leader who expresses an interest in crew leadership, please let the Site Supervisors and Volunteer Coordinators know! 

* The ReTooling Blitz Build has officially launched!  Pass on the word to all 55+ friends and family who might be interested in helping to build 12 new homes in Scarborough.  The ReTooling Blitz Build (geared towards Retirees and soon-to-be-retirees) is set to take place September 20th – 25th at 4572 Kingston Road.  It will include musical entertainment, fabulous lunches and afternoon keynote speakers.  Crew Leaders are needed!  For more information on this week long event or to sign up, please go to www.retoolingbuild.ca, speak with a volunteer coordinator on the build site, contact signmeup@torontohabitat.on.ca or 416-755-7353 Ex. 225.
