The Home Depot Canada Foundation
The Home Depot Canada is Habitat for Humanity Toronto’s Partner in Sustainability for the 4th year in a row, helping Habitat Toronto build sustainable homes, using the highest standards of green construction.  The Home Depot and its Team Depot associates have volunteered hundreds of volunteer hours and continue to lead the way in corporate social responsibility – putting their hammers where their hearts are.

GWL Realty Advisors
GWL Realty Advisors, a full service real estate investment advisor, is committed to building stronger communities in Canada.  Their association with Habitat for Humanity Toronto began in 2004 and allows GWLRA to utilize the strength of their resources, network, culture and people to give back to the community.  GWLRA has sponsored over 7 homes and donated over $500,000 through the combined generosity of The Great-West Life Assurance Company and it’s Key to Giving program and their network of real estate suppliers, contractors and brokers.  This commitment is further solidified their staff’s generous donation of their personal time, contributing thousands of volunteer hours to Habitat for Humanity Toronto.

SNC Lavalin
SNC Lavalin has proven that doubling efforts equals greater results.  Combined fundraising of both SNC Lavalin and its sister company SNC Lavalin O&M has made possible the construction of two homes at our 1500 Weston Road development.  As community builders, SNC Lavalin has provided countless volunteer hours and over $250,000 in funds raised to further the habitat mission.  Their efforts are not stopping there either.  Building on SNC Lavalin O&M’s history of support with Habitat Toronto, the combined efforts of these two companies will see more funds and volunteer hours poured into the 1500 Weston Road construction project this year, to help us complete the project on time and on budget.

Toronto Dominion Bank Financial Group
TD Bank Financial Group and its employees have been swinging hammers for Habitat Toronto since 2004, following the lead of C.E.O. Ed Clark.  Mr. Clark sits on the Habitat for Humanity Toronto Board of Directors and has made Habitat for Humanity Toronto a charitable pillar his entire company stands behind, not only in Toronto but across the country.  This year, TD Bank made a landmark commitment to Habitat Toronto through a multi-year, national initiative that will see TD’s carbon offsets enabling the construction of sustainable Habitat homes.  This vision, coupled with their enthusiasm on the build site makes TD Bank Financial Group Habitat Toronto’s largest annual  corporate contributor.

Building Industry and Land Development Association (B.I.L.D.)
B.I.L.D. began its support of Habitat for Humanity in 2002 and since 2005, they have been an annual Title Home Sponsor. The building industry comes together each year to celebrate their association and their partnership with Habitat Toronto through special events including a golf tournament, industry barbeque and most recently the wildly popular Party for Humanity.

The Delta Chelsea and Delta Toronto East Hotels
As a part of the Delta Hotels' national sponsorship of Habitat for Humanity, the Delta Chelsea and The Delta Toronto East are delighted to announce their partnership with Toronto Habitat.  As an organization that echoes the brand values and relevance to their business,  Delta Hotels are committed to be a defining financial, in-kind and volunteer resource donor for Toronto Habitat.  This three year partnership launched in 2009 with a home sponsorship at Hainford Street made possible through the fundraising efforts of both properties combined.  The Delta Chelsea held a very successful golf tournament, hosted our Gingerbread Build and provided exceptional prizes to be used at our signature events while the Delta Toronto East launched their first annual Casino night which to rave reviews by all who attended.

Schneider Electric
For many years, Schneider Electric has supported Habitat for Humanity International, an organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing throughout the world. They share in Habitat for Humanity's commitment to helping people in need everywhere secure decent, affordable shelter.  As a National Partner, Schneider Electric has donated more $13 million worth of residential electrical equipment for Habitat houses in the U.S, Canada and Mexico. In addition, many of their people dedicate time and muscle to help build Habitat houses.

GUESS
In 2009 a group of GUESS employees took on our Adopt-a-Day challenge and set out to raise some money for their Habitat for Humanity Toronto build day.  What happened next has blown us all away. This tenacious group of employees raised over $30,000 through various fundraising activities and events.  When their corporation found out about this success, they too wanted to contribute. The GUESS foundation matched their fundraising total dollar for dollar.  The momentum did not stop there.  Following this generous matching gift, the owners of the company, Paul and Maurice Marciano joined in as well, bringing GUESS’ one-time cash contribution to over $90,000 for Habitat Toronto.

O. P. A. a supporter of Habitat Toronto since 2007 on our 4500 Kingston Road and Peddicord Drive developments, has renewed its support in 2010.   As Habitat Toronto works to complete its first homes equipped with solar technology, O.P.A. has lent its expertise and advice to ensure we are well informed in our efforts to see our partner families benefitting from the micro Feed In Tariff program; a revenue generating initiative designed to reward generators of renewable, solar energy.  O.P.A. has made a commitment to ensure we continue to build energy efficient homes that are affordable today and well into the future.  We thank O.P.A. for its continued support of our ongoing home building efforts.
